“Only a racist would say they’re colorblind. We’re anti-racist so we definitely see color. That’s how we know Asians have terrible personalities.” - Harvard Admissions Board
Maybe they have a point because I was born to be a neurosurgeon. Forget my ok grades and my lack of time commitment to studying, not to mention my shaky hands. My middle-class parents didn't buy me designer clothes and yearly vacations, and this kept me from studying. I mean, who can do their homework when they share a room with their sisters and wear their hand-me-downs? White supremacists, including Asian white supremacists, hang out in classrooms to prevent POC from paying attention in class and doing homework. I can remember seeing them steal hw assignments out of backpacks and erasing assignments on the board. They sneak into homes and turn on televisions in order to hypnotize POC children and keep them from reading and studying. I admit there were other students (white and middle-class) that did study and get straight As, but perhaps I was mistaken for a POC and there was mind-control used on me to limit my academic commitment. This must be the explanation because I know I was meant to be a neurosurgeon.
The term "people of color" is a piece of wishful racism. It expresses a longing for a grand coalition against white people in a world that is presumed to be bipolar (black versus white). Other groups of people are reduced to supporting players in this coalition, which is why there is such rage when people in those groups exercise their agency and break out of the framework to which they have been assigned. If social justice is a war, then the refusers are traitors. The civil rights movement is more than a half a century old, and it is remarkable that this outdated framework continues to have such power in the social justice sphere even as the country has radically changed. It is an interesting subject for the social psychologist. I have my own speculations.
I have trouble getting over the fact that the vast majority of social justice progressives screaming the loudest about something they call 'white supremacy' or 'adjacent white supremacy' (WTF??) are in fact themselves upper middle or upper class white people.
I am hopeful the race hustlers are approaching the end of their ropes. You know they are in trouble when the question: 'who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes' applies. It seems there are three steps to the idiocy, 1. deny, 2. gaslight, 3. change the meaning of words and admit. We are at step 3, where anti-racist means racist, and as you brilliantly notice: white supremacy = multiracial.
The Firesign Theater had it right, we are all bozos on this bus.
The tactic is simple: shame. It only works if you allow it to. Remember who these people are. They think you are so weak minded that you can be shamed into acting in their best interests.
“The future of White supremacy in America is shaping up to be quite racially diverse. They must have a great DEI program.” Nearly snorted my tea out my nose at that one. Love it!
I feel rather silly stating the obvious: no one has control over their race or where they were born. MLK must be rolling in his grave because we haven't got any closer to judging people by their character rather than the color of their skin. Sadly, I'm finding patent lunacy more prevalent than character these days.
Ah, Yang The problem is that, as brilliant as you are, you're just too nice to call out patent lunacy.
Personally I find it hilarious that these fools sing paeans to virtues of "people of color" while Ignoring the odious Jim Crow images of separate water fountains for "White" and "Colored." Now their inane narrative devolves into calling people of any race that subscribe to normalcy, as "white adjacent" or more bizarrely "white supremacists." If it all sounds just a bit too Orwellian, it's because it is. It is also insanity. Obsessive-compulsive disorder is defined as "a common, chronic, and long-lasting disorder in which a person has uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts ("obsessions") and/or behaviors ("compulsions") that he or she feels the urge to repeat over and over." Democrats, and particularly those defined as "progressives" can't stop talking about race. It infests and infects everything they do. So, as has been oft observed, liberalism - particularly of the NY Times variety - is a mental condition. A fact now proved beyond peradventure. Sane people ignore the ravings of lunatics. We are all well advised to do so. Thankfully we now have a Supreme Court majority that has aligned with sanity. Even if our institutions of education and government seem determined to remain demented.
The Axis was a multi-racial movement, the Allies not so much; an interesting correlation isn't it?
this insano-world is caused by the rise of an international state and oligarchy which needs to mix everything together absolutely in order to be able to rule them absolutely; tranny-ism is their main ideology since it opens the door to absolute mixing. But it's also the prime disease of the judeans who hold a white-racial material form, but who yet also have a distinctly non-western cultural identity and surprise, surprise, we see jews as much at the fore of opposition to nazism/volkism/nationalism, as at the front of the promotion of the tranny movement (as even their useful puppet Biden said). The victory of tranny-ism then, is the victory of priestcraft, the victory of cultism aka of theocracy as the chief organizing principle; it's defeat only possible by racial-science & philosophy, that is, of being open to stereotyping and not rejecting stereotypes out-of-hand; even to be against prejudice is a prejudice.; to reason only from one's own fixed epistemic mode is itself narrowmindedness.
This is the reality: Elite universities have been using a wholistic admissions process for at least a decade, and yes, taking into consideration 'barrier to entry' issues. As such, the ruling itself will not cause elite universities to admit more Asians per se, but rather there will certainly be a loss of 'special consideration' for upper middle-class and especially upper class and ultra wealthy black, brown, beige and yellow people, who do not suffer from 'barriers to entry' and thus not deserving of consideration that does. 'Understanding of barrier to entry issues and consideration of barriers suffered' can and will be used and considered in the admissions process and for all intents and purposes is explicitly approved by SCOTUS (read the opinion). The acceptance rate of high-achieving academic students who do not have the same opportunities as certain others will not change.
Selection for entrance to elite institutions 'should not and is not' given just because of top American (US)-high-school grades, when in fact, US high school standards are arguably well below basic high schools in Canada, the Caribbean, African countries, other the third world countries in general, and certainly the Swedish high school which my children attended. To gain entrance to an elite university, arguably a student should do more than 'just study' and get top grades (which is not difficult to do-- if you have nothing else to do--and have a level of intelligence).
lf one is intelligent and belongs to the upper-middle class or higher it is generally easy to get exceptional grades in high school and university. However, there are highly intelligent students' students that suffer from barriers to entry caused by external factors out of their control that function according to a generational logic--and that should be considered in the application irrespective of race, and it is. My daughter met a Vietnamese student (not wealthy) who transferred-in from a community college to the ivy my daughter attends. FYI: Academic Advisor at the university told my daughter that her university workload was the heaviest that he had seen in his 30+ years at the institution-- and she's getting all A's as any privileged intelligent student should.
Students should be well-rounded individuals. An economically privileged, highly intelligent student who 'only studies' hasn't really done anything (in my opinion), but one who has taken the opportunity to try to create for example, a disruptive technology or works after school creating something scientific or mathematical, or who has worked at becoming the best at a sport or instrument, is more likely to be accepted to an elite university-- because while earning top grades it requires an exceptional student to bring even more to the table.
I made it clear to my kids that based on our class status and academic abilities, I required more than just top grades, because getting top grades is not difficult. Most of all, I required it for their soul--for the opportunities that others didn't have, and others don't have.
My mother never complained to me that she was a child slave. My mother, who grew up in poverty-- a mud hut was her home--could do complex mathematical equations in her head although she had less than a third-grade education. There is human capital in those less fortunate and an abundance of intelligence. Obviously, I am from a high-academic family-- my nephew scored highest/perfect SAT score in the mid 2000's, and my sisters were valedictorians in all-white school in Canada in late 70's, and one graduated from high school at that age of 15, and yes-- we are black. Obviously, I attended university and grad school, and have been successful having started a company that was written up in the WSJ Marketplace (full page spread, lol). However, to go from no primary education to grad school in one generation, cannot in general be expected to occur.
I am luck that neither my mother nor I grew up in the USA, I am lucky that neither my mother nor her family had been subjected to much of the thoughts and general racist assumptions and connotations expressed in this forum--which is ironic considering the creator of this forum wrote an article entitled, "How False History Is Used to Justify Discrimination Against Asian Americans".
The idea of a non-white being part of the Hite supremacy is not so novel from those quarters. James Baldwin complained that black cops were even more racist than white cops. So much of the modern racial rhetoric derives from Baldwin to the point that I think reading one of his essay collections, like The Price of Ticket, can give you a good understanding of the modern racial ideology of the left.
White Supremacy Is Now a Multiracial Movement

To be perfectly correct, I haven't ever seen a real white person. White is the absence of color. So, we're all people of color. Enough of this BS.

Who did the graphics ?
The smugness of the cyclist is perfect; and the one about Biden & the black girl is terrific.
